Westerhout Jeverland 2026 Family Reunion
| Part one: | The family reunion in the Jeverland, history going back to 1605 ! - Pickup in Amsterdam, bus to Jever, Germany, return to Amsterdam. We will staying in Jever old town and will be in the southern city districts of Cleverns-Sandel where the Westerholt /Westerhout family history started with the Harmenß, Johansen, Jacobs, Wilken and Westerholt families and continued to this day with the Westerhout, Eilers and Nannen families. Jever (Google Maps) ist located in the German state district Friesland, Lower Saxony, Northwest Germany. |
| Part two: | The extended tour. - Bus from Jever, on the way to Amsterdam, we get off the bus in Hoorn, the Netherlands. Vist the key locations, where the 5th generation Westerhout was in the Netherlands with the Dutch East India Company (VOC), before settling in Malacca, Malysia. We will visit Hoorn (1741), Texel Island (1741, 1745) and Amsterdam (1745), within the Dutch provinces Noord Holland. The Dutch province Zeeland with Fort Rammekens and Middelburg (1743) will not be part of the tour. |
